During the peak European evening hours we are looking at about 10-12 scheduled tournaments per hour. Good dailies include the $5,000 guarantee for an $11 buy-in and the $3,000 guarantee for a $20 buy-in. The biggest event at Everest Poker is the Sunday $100,000 guarantee with a $200 buy-in.

Another positive of the Everest Poker tournament schedule is the variety. Smaller tournament players have 4 or 5 events every hour under $20, with another 3 or 4 $100+ buy-in events for larger players per night. There are actually even Omaha and fixed-limit tournaments just about every hour.

It sometimes fills up 15,000 players at peak hours, which is more than what 95 percent of what other poker rooms hold. The best times to play are, as we said, during the peak European hours of about 16:00 to 00:00 GMT, which draws about 10,000-15,000 online players. A large amount of these players are found at ring game tables, usually as high as 70 percent. The majority of the traffic is from Texas Hold’em games. However, there are also a handful of active Omaha games up to the $1 level. Guaranteed tournaments have also been known to draw between 200-500 players during peak hours.

Everest’s Software 9 out of 10

For us, this is where Everest excel. Now the software is not gonna win a beauty contests anytime soon, but it gets the job done, and done well. It is incredible fast and reliable. The auto-prompts and features are perfectly located for ease of one key poker. The dealing is quick and right down to business. Pretty standard compatibility, although we could not find information on Mac compatibility at the time of writing, so smack on the wrist for that.
