Poker tournament
A poker tournament differs from a normal cash game in a few ways. In tournaments there is a buy-in, for example $10+1 where $10 goes to the prizepool and $1 goes to the house. The tournament players play with tournament chips, not real cash. Tournaments are played until all players, except the winner, have busted out (ran out of chips). The prizepool (the sum of all buy-ins) is then distributed among the players that lasted the longest, with the winner of course getting the largest share. No-limit is the most common structure for poker tournaments.
